Massive fraud is to be expected if Nadezhdin get's too many votes. The countervaling force is that the nationalists are disgusted with Putin's conduct of the war. They would be inclined to protest open fraud. Open fraud would also be protested by the opposition which may in fact include the majority of Russians that are seething about the war and the damage it has done to the country.

3 questions:

i) does the Russian nation understand the intricate historical relationships of the Western "democracies" with Russia, i.e., do they understand how and why has the West used (and continues to use) Russia to instill fear in their populace every 10-20 years and pour billions of Euros and dollars to the military-industrial complex without a vote?

ii) does the Russian nation recognize the ongoing collapse of moral and civil values in the West, be it through the neosocialist gender-class-driven agenda (arguably, a racist and sexist sociopathy and psychopathy) or the neoconservative strategy of perpetual military conflict allowing the US to "spread democracy" around the world since the 1950s?

iii) does the Russian nation accept the US (through NATO) to install nuclear missile silos in Ukraine, as they have done in the Baltic states and in Poland, and do they consider this to be any threat for their children, taking into account the history of the West's Russophobia and the contemporary ideologization of the corrupt and poisoned Western institutions (mainly the US and the EU Parliament)?

I know it's not related to this article directly, but it could be related to the somewhat authoritarian reign and tight grip on the government and elections by Kremlin. Especially, taking into account how the West still views Russia, how corrupt and authoritarian the West is becoming under the influence of supranational illegitimate organizations (e.g., WHO, WEF, etc.), and how bloodthirsty and warmongery the West has been over 3 latest NATO expansions and since the Maydan coup in Ukraine (supported and orchestrated by the West as other "color" revolutions). None of this justifies corruption and "stealing" of elections, but at least in Russia they don't pretend otherwise, as they do in many EU and non-EU countries, not to mention the US (just think about Clinton vs Trump and Biden vs Trump elections).
