Make no mistake. The USA is governed by the ruling elite. The ruling elite goes after dissenting voices with never-ending investigations and unlawful imprisonment. You are correct in recognizing that “all will return to the same as it was”.

Arseniy is correct that Putin's project, while dressed up in nationalistic language and notions of a mythical Russian past, has little to do with the interests of either the Russian people or the Russian state. Of course there is rivalry between the imperialists, but the article clearly shows that NATO expansion is not the root cause of Russian aggression against Ukraine. It is not defensive. To the contrary, Arseniy shows that it stems from the internal logic of liberalism. To the extent that the Chicago market liberals encouraged the likes of Yeltsin, the West are indeed to blame. (And to be sure, the oligarchs' disdain for the masses, their racism and homophobia, are part and parcel of the regressive, antidemocratic, ideological turn of US and European elites.)

The American Project is no less than the dismantlement of the territories of China and Russia. Neo-liberals have established globalization for just that purpose. The pre-emptive deployment by the Russian Federation stands in opposition to that expansionism.

Where to start? Our K-12 education is operated by organized labor paying lip service to not meddle with curriculum. California graduates K-12 folks expecting nothing but riches trickling down from above. Adoration of Bernie Sanders gruff pitches about failures will be solved by a heftier government. The future looks bleak, after the spasm of reckless spending becomes yet more debt, the federal feeding of California's entrenched elite tax and spend scheme will go away. We will starve as the city folk eat the farmers financially. We have to get organized labor out of education and once again teach, or repeat, Thomas Sowell and Milton Friedman observations. Welfare used to be the province of churches and fraternal organizations. They are being put out of business by the bifurcation of society via minimum wage thresholds and punitive measures against private enterprise.
